Our hearts are full at Chozn 2 Outreach as we move into the next phase of our inaugural Springfest 2025!
Over the past few weeks, the response from young parents in our community seeking support has charged us for the impact we are about to make. Each application tells a unique story of determination, love, and the desire to create a nurturing home. Behind every submission is a parent working hard to provide stability and warmth for their children – and we're honored to be part of their journey.
Our dedicated review team is now carefully considering each application, looking beyond the forms to see the families and dreams behind them. Soon, we'll be reaching out to share the good news with our selected recipients and invite them to our celebration event, where they'll receive brand-new household essentials – from kitchen necessities to cozy bedroom items – all chosen with care and quality in mind.

At Chozn 2 Outreach, our mission is to provide various levels and avenues of support to families, especially women, in transitional living situations (ie recently divorced, separated, widowed, first time moving out on their own after high school or college) for independent living. At Chozn 2 Outreach, our mission is to provide various levels and avenues of support to families, especially women, in transitional living situations (ie recently divorced, separated, widowed, first time moving out on their own after high school or college) for independent living. We will help mostly individuals that receive little to no governmental assistance. We offer to ”fill the gap” by providing items to include, yet not limited to: bedding, sheets, comforters, pillowcases, bathroom items like bath towels, hygiene products and kitchen essentials such as plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and some basic home decor and small appliances as donations become available.
We offer ”services and products” in support of other nonprofit programs throughout the community.
We have partnered with several organizations and individuals in providing essential home goods, holiday help for families and items directly to our unsheltered families. Opportunities to share our organizational resources are consistently performed.

Springfest 2025 in partnership with YMCA Dallas
Join Chozn 2 Outreach and YMCA Dallas with the local facility in Grand Prairie as we support 20 custodial parents with essential household items to help make their space feel more like home. Selected grant recipients will attend our special distribution event where they'll choose quality, brand-new household essentials - from kitchen must-haves to everyday basics.

Our Board members and leadership team bring a wealth of skills and qualities to this non-profit organization. They've been selected because of their compassion for and belief in our mission to help the underserved. Their use of sound judgement, creative social media and marketing skills, ability to review and use data, belief in God and willingness to love everyone, business centered focus, graduate level education, yet every day folk connections compile the perfect balance for a long term legacy outreach.
The Chozn 2 Outreach began officially in November 2021, yet has been developing for many years. The Davis / Jones family members have always provided support throughout the years to everyone that they could. We've volunteered at local missions and charity centers, given money to individuals on the street, created "blessing bags" with cash, snacks, hygiene products, caps, masks, etc. to individuals at The Dallas Bridge as well as Southeast Ft. Worth. We've participated in church feedings, clothing giveaways, annual toy drives, food pantry outings and fundraising events that bring awareness and solutions to various community disparities. We've always been our brothers and sisters keepers in some way.
Now is the time to be more intentional in identifying and directly supporting some of our most underserved VIP's, our women and families that cannot qualify for full governmental assistance. That's why at Chozn 2 Outreach, we're committed to connecting women to people who can help with finding them resources with empathy, thoughtfulness and care.

Saturdays are typically our busiest days out and about working in the community, so please allow us some time to return your call. All of our volunteers and VIPs are important to us.
